Sam is a highly qualified Principal Fire Protection Engineer and Commercial Risk Officer who has successfully delivered fire engineering services across diverse market sectors. With unique qualifications spanning Building Certification, Fire Engineering, and Law, Samuel is exceptionally well-positioned to manage complex fire protection compliance challenges while ensuring designs are value-for-money, compliant with applicable legislation, and aligned with end-user objectives.

Sam brings extensive experience across healthcare, defence, and infrastructure sectors. As Lead Engineer, he delivered major hospital projects including the Logan Hospital Expansion, Queensland Children’s Hospital, and the Cairns Base Hospital redevelopment. His defence portfolio includes the RAAF Darwin Mid Term Refresh, Air 7000 Phase 2B for P8 Poseidon aircraft infrastructure, and the RAAF Base Amberley Redevelopment. He also led engineering efforts for Cross River Rail—featuring six new stations and 10km of rail—and serves as a technical advisor for Sydney Metro West.

In the technology sector, Sam has acted as Lead Reviewer for the SYD6 AWS data centre and provided specialised consulting for Google Data Centres. His commercial experience includes designing fire protection for warehouse distribution centres with dangerous goods storage, as well as providing technical advice on FM Global Insurance claims.
