WSce carried out a fire protection upgrade, encompassing the design and implementation of a new Fire Indicator Panel (FIP) system, the enhancement of multiple fire alarm panel locations, and improvements to the fire hydrant system.

BDP Asia Pacific is a major logistics company undergoing establishment at PortLink Logistics Estate, 5 Horsburgh Drive in Altona North, Melbourne. Our fire services team were engaged to provide a solution to overcome the challenge of protecting stored varying classes of dangerous goods in a building where the base building ESFR sprinkler system was not possible.

Together with the project fire engineer, WSce designed a 19,000 litre engineered water-foam sprinkler system consisting of an in-rack sprinkler design and base building retrofit modifications to fit within the parameters of the existing fire systems infrastructure. Our main goal was to assist the client mitigate risk, as the logistics operations were already active.
