Sydney Coliseum Theatre

A world-class space capable of hosting musicals, dramatic theatre, concerts, ballet, contemporary dance, family entertainment and comedy.

Designed by Cox Architecture, the multiple awarded world-class project entailed a 2000-seat performing arts centre and the construction of two new car parks, providing an additional 700+ spaces. The multi-mode Sydney Coliseum is made up of three foyers and seven bars.

WSce provided the comprehensive design and oversaw the construction of fire and hydraulic services for the project. This encompassed various crucial elements such as stormwater drainage internal to the building, sub-soil drainage, sewer drainage, grease waste drainage, sanitary plumbing, downpipes, domestic cold water services, rainwater reuse service, domestic hot water services, fire hydrant service, fire sprinkler service, fire hose reel service, and natural gas service. Our involvement spanned the entire process, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of these essential services within the facility.
