Overview

Mainfreight sought a significant upgrade for their 45,569 sqm Preston facility to meet Australian Fire Service requirements. WSce was enlisted for the upgrade, involving new racking with in-rack sprinklers and layout improvements for storage flexibility and streamlined distribution.

Our role

The project finished in six weeks, beating the 15-week estimate. Mainfreight now benefits from improved storage, especially for dangerous goods, and enhanced distribution efficiency. The upgraded facility ensures compliance, supports Mainfreight’s growth, and fosters employment and long-term economic benefits.
