At WSce, investing in our people has always been part of how we build that capability.

This year, we are proud to recognise ten promotions across our Civil & Water Engineering, Fire Services and Hydraulic teams. Each promotion reflects an individual’s commitment to professional growth, but together they represent something much broader: the continued development of the expertise that underpins every project we deliver.

Our Civil & Water Engineering team has seen several significant leadership appointments. James Georgiades has been promoted to Partner & Manager – Civil & Urban Design, recognising six years of leadership in growing the division and delivering major projects across Australia. Jayson Blaine has been appointed Manager – Utilities Design, while Steven Stefanov has progressed to Lead Engineer, reflecting their technical expertise, project leadership and commitment to developing those around them.

Across the business, Lucy McHugh has been promoted to Senior Engineer and Iana Kushnir to Senior Designer, recognising their continued technical development and increasing responsibility on complex projects. In our Fire Services team, Tim Sladen has been promoted to Senior Fire Services Engineer and Arindam Bhowmick to Fire Engineer, while within Hydraulic Services, Lachlan Berg has progressed to Senior Hydraulic Engineer, Adam Palmer to Hydraulic Engineer, and Luke Stalker to Hydraulic Designer.

These promotions span every stage of an engineering career, from graduates taking the next step in their profession to experienced leaders entrusted with shaping teams, projects and client relationships. While every career journey is different, they all reflect the qualities we value at WSce: technical excellence, collaboration, accountability and a commitment to continual improvement.

For our clients, investing in our people means investing in the quality of the service we provide. As our engineers develop, so too does our collective capability, bringing deeper technical knowledge, stronger project leadership and greater confidence in delivering practical, buildable engineering solutions.
