Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals

WSce was engaged by Health Infrastructure NSW to address site-wide fire and hydraulic Services to ensure compliance and successful masterplan delivery.

The Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1 transformed the hospital campuses to meet the growing healthcare demands of Sydney’s north-western suburbs. The project included a new inpatient building, expanded outpatient clinics, renal dialysis unit, cancer centre, cardiac catheterisation capabilities, and improved medical imaging, pharmacy, pathology, and sterilising services at Blacktown Hospital. Mount Druitt Hospital received additional beds, an urgent care centre, and expanded oral health services.

Health Infrastructure NSW engaged WSce at the commencement of Stage 1 Master Planning to consider the site-wide Fire and Hydraulic Services requirements to enable successful delivery of the masterplan works and ensure long-term compliance of the services solutions for the entire campus.
