Rockhampton Airport underwent a security upgrade to meet obligations under the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 (ATSA) and the Aviation Transport Security Regulations 2005 (ATSR). The upgraded security infrastructure incorporated leading technologies, enabling the safe processing of an increasing volume of passengers and visitors at Rockhampton Airport.
