Tom is an experienced Civil & Water Engineer with specialised experience within the water industry, bringing valuable international expertise from the UK to Australia’s infrastructure sector. His career began with United Utilities, where he developed comprehensive skills across multiple disciplines including geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, project management, and construction supervision alongside core civil engineering competencies.
With extensive experience in water servicing coordination (WSC) and construction management, Tom specialises in complex water infrastructure projects including water mains installation, sewer diversions, stormwater management, and utility coordination. His technical expertise encompasses programme management, responding to RFIs, conducting site visits and inspections, and coordinating effectively with clients and Sydney Water.
Tom has successfully delivered critical infrastructure projects valued at over $3.6 billion collectively, including major Sydney Metro projects at Clyde, Barangaroo, and Bankstown, the $335 million Circular Quay Renewal Project with Lendlease, and the $2.6 billion Sydney Gateway project. His portfolio also includes significant developments such as the University of Sydney’s $650 million Biomedical Accelerator and various residential and commercial projects across Sydney.
